MKCPP member Deb James’ funeral on BBC TV

August 17, 2017 by Suzan 1 Comment

A sad day for so many of us – August 17th we said goodbye to the beautiful Deb James who campaigned so hard for cancer patients while battling her own disease.

Deborah James funeral cortege
40 Minis – both modern and classic – accompanied Deb to her final destination

It was heartening to see how her home town of Northampton turned out to give her the send off she wanted, with a cheerful atmosphere, a party – not a wake, and a procession of no fewer than 40 Minis, led by her own car driven by her brother, to accompany her in a convoy to her final destination.
