The Lighthouse Centre in nearby Northampton now has special Lottery funding to support and extend its brilliant work.
The Lighthouse Centre (TLC) is an innovative complementary therapy centre offering holistic therapies for people with long term conditions or cancers in their own home. TLC is patient orientated with patient needs at the centre of any therapy or treatment that is prescribed.Treatments include:
· Indian Head Massage
· Reiki
· Thermo-auricular Therapy or Hopi Ear Candles
· Relaxation, Meditation and Stress Management Groups
TLC is run by health care professionals who have a wealth of knowledge and experience which ensures that the best possible treatment is identified and given to each patient, and their families, liaising with each patient’s GP and other members of the multi-disciplinary team if required.
“As a patient you will receive a full holistic assessment on your first visit and the TLC team will monitor your condition on subsequent visits. You, the patient, are at the centre of our attention and can be assured that your needs are the focus of the team,” says Gemma Dearsley, Founder and Lead CNS at the Lighthouse Centre.
