The Milton Keynes Area Community Car Service – a division of Community Action MK – consists of a lively team of volunteer drivers who take people to medical and other care appointments in the MK area. There is a small charge per mile, but this is a fraction of what a cab will cost. For more information and if you need a low-cost lift, call them on 01908 670309.
Because the service is so much in demand, the organisers are looking for more volunteer drivers – particularly in the north and south-west parts of Milton Keynes
