Aged just 60 years old, two-times cancer survivor Richard Freeman experienced a recurrence in Spring 2017. After being hospitalised for a week he was at home doing well with treatment, but after a sudden crisis he was readmitted and passed away on Easter Sunday morning.
He had been a member of the MKCPP for several years and was instrumental in spearheading a number of projects for the Partnership, not least of which was the recent initiative “Cancer & Beyond” which is leading the way in rolling out post-cancer treatment care and rehabilitation into local MK GP practices.
