The first ever patient conference in the UK formed by patients for patients – the Melanoma Patient Conference – is happening on Friday June 17th, 2016 in Bristol, writes MKCPP member and MK Super Moles lead Lorraine Mir.
Speakers include leading UK professionals including Dr James Larkin, Consultant Oncologist from the Royal Marsden; Professor Julia Newton-Bishop, professor of dermatology at St James Hospital, Leeds, and lead of the Melanoma Research Group at the Leeds Institute of Cancer and Pathology; and Professor Mark Middleton, consultant oncologist and clinical director of oncology at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
